Event Details

Parent Commitment is a special time in the life of the family as parents commit to engage their important role as stewards of God's gift of life. If you are a member desiring to participate in a Parent Commitment Service, you will first attend a Parent Commitment Workshop led by Family Ministry Pastor, Jeff Salisbury. In the workshop, you will consider the responsibility to provide your children with the best opportunity to know, love, and follow after Jesus. You will also learn about gospel-centered parenting and God's design for parents from Deuteronomy 6. You, as parents, will consider your commitment to pattern the life of a disciple for your children to follow and commit to raising them in the local church.
